Making changes to your menus and event details

Making changes to your event is important to ensure you’re 100% happy with what you want.  The Doughkitchen team will do our upmost to be flexible and accommodate any changes you may wish to make.  However any changes made may be subject to the following terms:

Making changes more than 2 weeks before event

Food menus can be changed 2 weeks or more before the event

Making changes less than 2 weeks before event

No significant changes are permitted less than 2 weeks before the event date unless agreed by both parties and confirmed in writing

Making changes on the event day

No changes are permitted on the event date, unless agreed by both parties and confirmed in writing.  If there’s a significant drop in guests on your event day, no reduction in costs can be expected.

Cancellation of your event

In the unlikely event your event is cancelled, the following conditions shall apply:

Cancellation of event by the client

All cancellations must be made initially by telephone, and then confirmed in writing or by email and confirmed by Dough Kitchen

  • Less than 12 weeks until event
    (Liable for 40% of total)
    If you cancel the event less than 12 weeks but more than 6 weeks before the event date, you will be liable to pay 40% of the total costs invoiced.
    • Less than 6 weeks until event
      (Liable for 50% of total)
      If you cancel the event less than 6 weeks but more than 2 weeks before the event date, you will be liable to pay 50% of the total costs invoiced.
      • Less than 2 weeks until event
        (Liable for 100% of total)
        If you cancel the event 2 weeks or less before the event date, you will be liable to pay 100% of the total costs invoiced.  Dough Kitchen, where possible, will make every effort to reduce costs for you.

        Cancellation by Dough Kitchen

        Dough Kitchen Wood Fired Pizza reserves the right to cancel under the following circumstances:

        1. If you haven’t paid 100% of the total costs invoiced, 8 weeks before the event date. (Unless prior agreement is made in writing between the parties)
        2. If any request after the initial booking is deemed by Dough Kitchen Wood Fired to jeopardise its reputation.  Dough Kitchen Wood Fired Pizza will always advise you if this is a possibility

        In the unlikely circumstance your event is cancelled by Dough Kitchen Wood Fired Pizza for the above reasons, you shall be liable for any costs incurred to date.  Dough Kitchen Wood Fired Pizza will make every effort, where possible, to reduce costs for you.

        Cancellation Force Majeure

        Doughkitchen shall be under no liability for any delay or failure to provide the services as a result of any act or circumstances beyond our reasonable control including, but not limited to, an Act of God, legislation, fire, drought, bad weather, failure of power supply, lock-out, strike or cancellation by the venue or premises owner.  In the unlikely event your event is cancelled by Force Majeure, you shall be liable for costs incurred to date.

        Public Liability Insurance

        Dough Kitchen confirms that they have and will maintain sufficient public liability insurance for events.  A copy of the certificate is available upon request.  Dough Kitchen Wood Fired Pizza's liability insurance does not cover for cancellation of your event.

        Liability

        Dough Kitchens entire liability in respect of any event or default shall be limited to damages of an amount equal to the total price paid by you for the catering services at the event.

        Food storage, safety and handling

        It is a legal requirement for food business operators to put in place, implement and maintain a permanent documented food safety management system based on the principles of Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) in accordance with health and safety regulations.   All members of Staff are fully trained.

        Dough Kitchen Wood Fired Pizza follow strict environmental food guidelines for all food production, handling, storage and distribution.

        Storage of food

        In order to maintain and ensure compliance, Dough Kitchen Wood Fired Pizza advise that all food must be consumed after two hours of initial serving, any foods consumed after two or more hours of it first being served is at the client’s discretion, and therefore becomes their responsibility.  

        Access & parking

        Access to event venue will be required up to 2 hours before service and an hour after service in most occasions.

        It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that the venue has good access, with plenty of space to manoeuvre a 4 x 4 vehicle and the trailer and there’s enough room to off load the van. It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that there is a flat area to position the van, which is no more than 25m from a power source.  Dough Kitchen Wood Fired Pizza cannot be held responsible if we are unable to get on site because of restricted access and as a result are unable to deliver our service.

        Parking spaces must be provided for staff cars and vehicle trailer (if used), which is accessible at all times. If our company vehicles need to be parked on payable parking spaces, the fee will be charged to the client.  If no suitable parking is available on site, the client must ensure that suitable alternative arrangements are made close by.     

        Facilities

        It is a legal requirement that all catering facilities have running hot & cold water. Hot water can be produced by the utilization of a water boiler.

        Electricity of sufficient power to meet the requirements of the equipment needed for the event will also need to be provided.  If a generator is necessary it must be installed for the event.  Dough Kitchen Wood Fired Pizza will have their own back-up generator, however cannot be held responsible for the failure of the on-site supply of electricity before, during and after the event, which could affect the delivery of our service.   

        Travel & transport

        Dough Kitchen Wood Fired Pizza operate a free delivery policy up to the radius of the M50 Dublin.   Thereafter a price can be agreed with the client.

        Day of Event

        Please indicate who the main point of contact is on the day of the event.

        Please state if there are any dietary requirements.

        Please advice if you have made allowances for staff to be included in your service count i.e. we often feed bands and staff at weddings.

        Payment schedule

        The following payment terms are used by Dough Kitchen Wood Fired Pizza unless agreed by both parties

        • 25% deposit to secure a date (non-refundable)
        • 75% final payment  30 days before the date of event

        Notes:

        Until a deposit is secured we cannot guarantee our services for your event date.  We’ll advise you if any interest is expressed by another client that could compromise you securing a particular event date.
